Our Vision
The vision of Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church is to create a Christian community by supporting the poor, saving the lost, providing a sanctuary for all who seek salvation & spiritual growth, strengthening youth & families, engaging in social activism in Dale County and the world (Proverbs 29:18)
GSMBC CoViD-19 Guidelines
The Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church of Ozark, Alabama will conduct worship service under guidelines offered by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Alabama Public Health (APH). Facebook Live via GSMBCofOzarkal will continue. Members who are senior citizens and those with extreme under-lying health conditions are encouraged to watch. The sanctuary has been flogged and sanitized, and as well as a complete cleaning and wipe-down after each service. Seating is marked using 6 ft social distancing guides and placards. Family members who reside in the same household may sit together.
We provide the following:
- Temperature will be checked in the vestibule
- Masks are required for entry (a disposable one will be provided if you do not have one);
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in the vestibule;
CDC questions that need responses before entry include:
- Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of CoViD-19?
- Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or a sore throat?
- Have you experienced loss of taste or smell?
- Have you experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
Worship is essential. Let us work together and be responsible to have a safe church environment.
